I have a new pet: Cosmo. He is two years old and comes to me from a wonderful friend who adopted him from a pet store. She decided I needed a bird. His previous owner moved to NYC and left him behind.
How anyone leave this handsome boy anywhere? He spent his first day wondering what that red contraption on top of his cage was, until he figured out it's fun to climb. Then he looked out the window. I have never seen anyone so happy to look out a window. So far, his favorite thing to do is watch TV and listen to Mexican music on the radio. (Why does the Mexican station ALWAYS come in crystal clear?)
I used my new Flip to record some video of Cosmo actually taking food from my hand. This is huge. He's still not used to me. (Yes, the TV is on. Did I mention he loves it?)
And, just so my other pets don't feel slighted, here's some video of my fish tank. Rather soothing, wouldn't you say?
