It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Play this video at full volume if you dare.

OK, I know that is a Christmas song, but Halloween is fast replacing Christmas as my favorite holiday of the year.  Today I completed my decorating for this year. Some old favorties are back.

This lovely fellow hangs on my balcony.

Here's something old and something new:  my draped jack-o'-lantern with a bubbling cauldrom at its feet.

I made a special trip to the Mission this year to pick up some festive Day of the Dead decor.  It's not until November 2, but why wait?

Here are my calaveraritas (little skulls).  These are hand-painted by Mexican artisans.

This one's made of black clay and holds a candle.

My little dead rhythm section.  They killed their first night.

El Diablo es muy bonito, si?  (Say yes.)

Not everyone is impressed. Blanca find the skulls...restrictive.
